Local event organiser, Sally Evans, has announced that the Ivinghoe Old School Community Hub and Town Hall will be the latest venue for her Artists’ and Makers’ Fair.
Taking place 10-11 May 2014, the Artists’ and Makers’ Fair will bring together a wealth of local artisans including painters, photographers, ceramicists, jewellers, chocolatiers, laser cut designers, pen turners and many more.
For the first time, the event will showcase Ivinghoe-based photographer, Louisa Stobbs, who will be displaying her work on the latest Aqua Canvases which are 100% waterproof and designed to be hung in the bathroom, at the end of the garden or even submerged under water !
Sally Evans, organiser of the Artists and Makers Fair, said “I’m delighted to welcome some wonderful, local artistic talent for the first time in Ivinghoe. I have specifically chosen the location because I wanted to support this venue which has been lovingly brought back to life by the villagers. I really hope that people will visit the event, marvel at the artists’ skills and even take home some beautiful handcrafted pieces of art.”
The event is open 10am-4pm each day. To find out more about the event and artists visit the website http://www.sallyevansevents.co.uk/home
