The local food bank is operated by St Mary’s Church in Ivinghoe.

If you are in need of accessing food from the food bank, please telephone Babs Byrom on 07860 780127.

All information is kept confidential.

Food Donations

Food donations can be left in the west porch of St Mary’s church in Ivinghoe at anytime. Suggesions include:

Assorted cereals ( not oats)
Cartons of semi skimmed long life milk
Tins of corned beef, cooked ham, sardines, tuna
Tins of soup
Tinned cooked meats ie: meatballs in sauce, mincemeat in gravy, chicken in sauce.
Tins of spaghetti in tomato sauce, baked beans, assorted tinned vegetables ( potatoes, carrots, sweet corn and peas )
Tins of mandarin oranges, pears, pineapple, peaches, fruit salad
Tins of rice pudding and evaporated milk
Packets of biscuits
Individual packs of biscuits ie: penguins, twix
Assorted crisps and hula hoops
Assorted sweets and chocolates
Easy cook and ready cooked rice.
Toilet rolls
Cook in sauces
Toilet rolls
Hair shampoo
Men’s and ladies deodorant
