The Williamson Trust

Reg. Charity. No. 266108

Supporting Pitstone residents over the age of 65

The Williamson Trust provides financial support to any person aged 65 or older on 31 March

Grants are made in April each year and are delivered as cheques to eligible residents.  Grants may vary each year (in 2017 couples and individuals received £45 and £35 respectively).

The Williamson Trust is a registered charity and was established in 1973 for the benefit of people who have reached the age of 65 and live within the parish of Pitstone.  It takes its name from Mark Williamson who donated £10,000 following the sale of land to develop Crispin Field.  A further bequest of £93,000 was made to the charity following the death of his son, Humphrey Williamson in 2009.

If you know of someone who is eligible, or you are eligible yourself but are not on the Williamson Trust list please contact Gill Lowe, Chair of the Williamson Trust  (tel: 01296 668809 or email: gill.lowe@pitstone.email)

The charity is managed by a separate charitable body, with trustees that are appointed by the parish council.
