260 New Homes Planned for Tring

Dacorum Borough Council has launched a new consultation into their site allocations policy which sets out major planning areas within the borough for the next 20 years.  The consultation runs from 24/9/14-5/11/14.

The plans include new areas of employment, three medium sized residential developments of 24 houses in Miswell Lane, 25 houses in Western Road and 10 in Landgon Street plus a major development of up to 200 houses off Icknield Way in West Tring.  The latter site also includes an extension to the cemetery and 5 pitches for travellers.

You can view the plans online by following the link below, or view them at Temperance Hall in Christchurch Road on Tuesday 14 October from 2-8pm.

The document does not state if the new homes will have an impact on capacity at Tring senior school.

The plans do include the long awaited cycle path from Pitstone to Tring Station.
