Appeal to trace relatives of First World War police officers

Thames Valley Police is trying to trace relatives of police officers who served in the forces that make up today’s Thames Valley Police area who were killed or served in the First World War.

The Force would also like to hear from anyone who has police-related photographs or other memorabilia for the area relating to the war.

The Force will commemorate the officers who were killed in the First World War at a ceremony and exhibition at this year’s Thames Valley Police Open Day, which will be held at the Force Training Centre at Sulhamstead on Saturday 2 August.
