The Northchurch Repair Shed has spaces available for new members and they would welcome Pitstone residents to join:
The closest Repair Shed we run to Pitstone is in Northchurch.
This site is open 3 days a week Mondays, Wednesday s, & Fridays 10 – 3pm.
Currently we have space for potential Shedders on a Monday or Wednesday & we would welcome someone from Pitstone.
We don’t have any members from Pitstone, but we do have members from outside Dacorum.

We currently operate workshops in Northchurch, Hemel Hempstead, and Redbourn—
each with a focus on woodworking.
While woodworking is our main activity, we also carry out a range of repairs on items brought in by members or from the public.
A fourth workshop is due to open soon in Kings Langley, further expanding our reach across Dacorum.
We operate on a membership basis, and our fees are as follows:
- Annual Membership: £141 (payable in full)
- Monthly Membership: £12.50 (payable by standing order or Direct Debit)
- Pay-As-You-Go: £5 per session (payable in cash to the Team Leader on the day of your visit)
Given the high demand, we do have a waiting list for prospective members for some of our sheds.
Additionally, in line with our commitment to safety, all members are required to undergo a DBS check, as our facilities are shared with vulnerable individuals.
To help you determine if the Repair Sheds are the right fit for you, we would be delighted to arrange a short visit to the nearest workshop.
This will give you an opportunity to meet current members, tour the facilities, and learn more about the types of activities and repairs we carry out.
