Pitstone Annual Assembly 25-3-20 – POSTPONED

Update 20/3/2020
The safety of our residents and members is of paramount concern during the current Coronavirus outbreak.  The parish council will continue to operate as far as possible during these difficult times.  In the interest of public safety, and to follow government guidance, the annual assembly is therefore being postponed.  We will let you know of a new date, or alternative arrangements, in due course.

Please see the attached agenda.

Your chance to catch up on everything that has been happening over the last 12 months and hear the plans for the forthcoming year.

Please note that this meeting is being held earlier than usual this year due to the May 2020 elections.  Purdah will commence for parish, county and district councillors at the end of March which means the assembly couldn’t really take place after that date.  By holding the assembly ahead of the election, it provides an opportunity for the outgoing council to explain the activities fulfilled under their stewardship, and for residents who may be considering standing for the parish council election to get an overview of what is involved.

We look forward to seeing you there.
