Three ways to advertise your business to the Pitstone residents and visitors

Pitstone Pavilion

The Pavilion is our community building and football ground.   It is the home ground for both the Pitstone & Ivinghoe United Football Club (who play in the Spartan South Midlands League) and the Pitstone & Ivinghoe Junior Football Club (8 of their teams, ranging from under 7’s to under 18’s use the pavilion as their home ground).   The community building is also utilised for regular yoga & exercise classes, children’s music classes, council meetings, Pitstone youth café, events/parties/training courses, the over 60’s club, the WI and many other activities and local groups.  Over the last year, we estimate that the footfall through the car park has been over 15,000, providing you with good advertising reach across a range of age groups and demographics.

New Opportunity for Forecourt Advertising

Pitstone parish council is pleased to offer a limited number of opportunities for advertisers to place a 2ft x 4ft advertising sign within our car park forecourt at Pitstone Pavilion.  Due to physical constraints, this offer is strictly limited.

Your advertising board will be sited along the top of the wooden boundary fence, or along the post and rail fence at the end of the car park.  All boards will face into the car park.  Our car park is illuminated by floodlights after dark, so your advertising will be visible to all facility users regardless of the time of day they visit.

The Dibond signs are long lasting, durable, waterproof and have excellent print and colour properties to guarantee a professional finish to promote your business.   Each sign will last very many years with no loss of quality, so can remain in situ (so long as you don’t want to change the artwork), if you choose to renew your annual advertising, without incurring repeat production costs.  We partner with Ambersigns in Berkhamsted who will be happy to accept your finished artwork or help you to design your sign if necessary.   Once you are happy with the proof, the sign will be professionally produced and installed by Ambersigns, providing a hassle-free service.

There is a one-off production and installation cost for your 2ft x 4ft Dibond sign of £70 + VAT.  The advertising fee to display your advert in our car park forecourt for the first
12 months is just £100 + VAT.

Vinyl Banner Advertising around our Football Pitches

We are also pleased to support businesses who wish to display vinyl advertising banners around the inside of our sports ground.   We recommend the banners measure 2ft x 3ft (as seen in the photographs below).  We can either procure these for you, in sturdy outdoor vinyl with eyelet holes and cords (please contact us for up-to-date costs), or you can supply your own to this specification if you wish.  The Parish Council will mount the signs and monitor them.  If your banner remains in good condition at the end of the year, you are welcome to continue using the same banner the following year if you choose to renew your advertising fee.  Most existing advertising find good quality banners last many years.

The advertising fee to display your advert around our pitches for the first
12 months is just £250 + VAT.

All proceeds arising from advertising opportunities at the pavilion will be used to improve and maintain the Pavilion grounds and site for the benefit of the whole community.  

Pitstone Parish Post – Quarterly Magazine

The Parish Council produces Pitstone Parish Post (PPP) on a quarterly basis and hand delivers a free copy to every home and business within the parish, reaching over 1,500 homes, 2,700 adult residents, 45 businesses and all their employees.

Advertising spaces are currently available from as little as £15 for a quarter page advert in a single edition.   A 10% discount is available for all advertisers that pre-book 4 editions.
